  • Breasts: Your breasts may continue to grow, so it is advisable to get a good bra for you.
  • Sore ribs: If the head of your baby is down, then you may have sore ribs.
  • Bad dreams: A lot of women have nightmares during this phase.

Right from this week, you will have a prenatal appointment every week till the time baby is born. Your doctor will check the growth and position of the baby every week. During this time, you also need to have Group B strep test for third trimester screening. If you test positive, antibiotics may be prescribed. If you have a boy, then his testes are fully descended.

  • Look out for a position which is comfortable for you to sleep. Do not sleep on your back. Use a semi-reclined position.
  • Maintain a healthy diet: What you eat during the last days of your pregnancy is important as it ensures your strength at the time of delivery. Drink a lot of water and eat small meals to avoid problem of heartburn and constipation.
  • Spend time with your partner: As you will be busy with your child, once it arrives, so this is the time to spend with your partner.
